What is the weather like in Bad Tatzmannsdorf?

Bad Tatzmannsdorf is located in sunny southern Burgenland and has over 300 days of sunshine a year. The climate is warm and temperate with an average annual temperature of around 9 °C. Even in the driest month of February there is intermittent rainfall. The warmest months are June and July, when temperatures can reach up to 33°C. Do you offer a transfer service?

We will be happy to organise a transfer for you from the airport, train station or your private address. Please let us know at least two days in advance so that we can arrange everything for you in good time.

Can I travel to the Hotel Reiters Finest Family by public transport?

Yes, the Hotel Reiters Finest Family in Bad Tatzmannsdorf is easily accessible by public transport. The B01 bus line runs daily between Vienna, Oberwart and Bad Tatzmannsdorf. A free transfer from the nearest bus stop to Hotel Reiters Finest Family is of course possible. Please let us know at least two days in advance so that we can organise your pick-up.

Is there a garage or parking facility?

Yes, the Hotel Reiters Finest Family has two underground car parks with free parking spaces for our guests. To enter the car park, please ring the bell at the entrance or hold your room card in front of the reader - the gate will then open automatically. When leaving the car park, simply drive up to the exit gate - it will open automatically for you.

From what time is check-in possible on the day of arrival and when can we move into the room?

Guaranteed room check-in with spa and wellness use is possible from 15:00. Earlier room check-in can be booked subject to availability at an extra charge and can be requested from 18:00 the day before at the earliest by telephone on +43 3353 8841. 

Please note that rooms must be vacated by 12:00 noon on the day of departure. You are welcome to enquire about room availability for your day of departure from 18:00 on the evening before.

What services are included in a stay at Hotel Reiters Finest Family in Bad Tatzmannsdorf?

The price includes breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, afternoon cake, multi-course dinner menu or buffet, ice cream and drinks (non-alcoholic drinks, premium spirits, cocktails and wine), childcare, wellness area incl. saunas and activity programme. Can pets be taken to the Hotel Reiters Finest Family?

Hotel Finest Family has a limited number of pet-friendly rooms with a small, fenced-in garden. Please note our guidelines. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant, wellness or pool area. You are welcome to spend time with your four-legged friend in the lobby, directly opposite reception. For other animals such as cats or horses, please enquire in advance by telephone.

Are there charging stations for electric cars at Hotel Reiters Finest Family?

In our underground car park you will find charging stations for all common e-cars. Here you can charge your vehicle conveniently and with direct access to the hotel for an additional charge.

How much is the surcharge for the e-charging station?

The fee is € 18.00. You will receive a charging card at reception, which you can use to activate the charging station.

How much does the early arrival package cost and what does it include?

If you have booked an early arrival, our all-inclusive services such as lunch, wellness area and childcare are available from 12:00 noon. If you have not booked an early arrival, you can use the hotel services from 15:00.

When are the meal times?

The following meal times apply in the family restaurant:

  • Breakfast buffet: 7:00 - 10:30 am

  • Lunch: 12:15 - 1:45 pm*

  • Multi-course evening menu: 6:00 - 8:30 pm*

Please arrive at the restaurant by 8:00 pm at the latest.

*Including warm meals for babies and toddlers

Eating in the Büffeltränke next to Kasimir's Waterworld with the Kidsclub:

These times are reserved exclusively for children. The children eat together with the kids' club team in the buffalo watering hole and keep to themselves. (Booking required)

What dishes are available at the breakfast buffet?

Our breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired:

  • Drinks: vanilla and chocolate milk, dairy products, large tea buffet, coffee and filter coffee. At our drinks station you will also find our own juices and freshly squeezed fruit juices for self-service.

  • For allergy sufferers and the diet-conscious: gluten-free and lactose-free products, various types of milk (including plant-based alternatives), gluten-free bread and a selection of yoghurt - including natural and vanilla yoghurt.

  • Muesli and toppings: A large selection of muesli and regional yoghurt. Nuts, linseed and chia seeds are available as toppings.

  • Fresh fruit: Seasonal and regional fruit is provided fresh daily at the buffet.

  • Egg dishes: Egg dishes can be freshly prepared to order in our show kitchen.

  • Bread and spreads: Our bread comes from our own production, baked by our in-house master baker. A wide selection of honey and jams rounds off the breakfast offer.

Yes, of course we take food allergies and intolerances into consideration. Please inform us in writing at least 7 days before your arrival if you suffer from allergies or intolerances. Are there gluten-free and lactose-free dishes?

At Hotel Reiters Finest Family in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, we offer a small selection of gluten- and lactose-free dishes throughout the day. We are also happy to provide you with individual alternatives. Additional requests can be charged separately.

Are there vegetarian or vegan dishes?

Yes, in our restaurants you will find vegetarian and purely plant-based vegan dishes all day long.

Is lunch included on the day of arrival and departure?

Are there highchairs in the restaurant?

Yes, highchairs are available for our younger guests in the restaurant at Hotel Reiters Finest Family. These are prepared for you and placed directly at your dining table.

Are children allowed to look into the kitchen?

As long as the kitchen is not too hectic, we welcome curious little visitors to the kitchen.

Are small portions also offered?

At the breakfast and lunch buffet, you can choose the portion size according to your wishes. We are also happy to offer you smaller portions for served dishes at dinner.

Is there a lunchtime snack? How long is lunch offered?

Yes, our lunch is served daily as a buffet and is available from 12:15 to 13:45. We ask you to eat in street clothes in the restaurant.

The lunch buffet offers different dishes every day:

  • Starters

  • Salads

  • Clear soup with garnish

  • Main courses: a meat or fish dish as well as a vegan alternative

  • Desserts from our in-house patisserie

  • Homemade ice cream with up to 6 flavours, optionally with Smarties or waffles

Are drinks included with the meal?

Yes, all drinks - including non-alcoholic drinks, premium spirits, cocktails and wine - are included with meals. We are also happy to bring the following drinks directly to your table during meals:

  • Beer (Zwickl, Weizen, Goldbräu as well as non-alcoholic Weizen and free beer - all from Stiegl)

  • Hugo, Aperol, Bellini (sparkling wine with peach nectar)

  • White spritzer

Dinner takes place daily from 18:00 to 20:30 in our restaurant.
Seating takes place until 20:00, the buffets remain open until 20:30. The chefs will prepare your appetiser freshly in our show kitchen. You can choose between a classic and a vegan dish.
In the evening, you can choose from three menus, each with the following options:

  • Meat

  • Fish

  • Vegan

How does dinner work?

  • Starter: fresh from the show kitchen or from the starter buffet

  • Salad buffet with toppings, selection of cheeses and fresh bread

Do I have to book a table for dinner?

Your table will be allocated to you on the day of arrival and is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have various highchairs and baby bouncers available for our youngest guests.

All meals are included in the room rate. However, you can also order steak 6 days a week for an extra charge.

Is there a buffet or à la carte dishes?

Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style at Hotel Reiters Finest Family. For dinner, we offer a combination of buffet and served dishes so that you can enjoy a varied selection.

Is there a children's menu, children's buffets or favourite dishes for children?

Yes, Hotel Reiters Finest Family also has its own children's buffet for our younger guests - lovingly arranged and at a lower height so that it is adapted to the size of the children and they can get their own food. We also offer a small gourmet menu with favourite dishes for children in case there is nothing suitable at the buffet.

Does the kitchen offer vegetarian or vegan dishes?

Yes, the kitchen also offers vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Where can I find the current menu?

You can find the current menu online in our Gastfreund app and in our restaurant.

Is there a selection of midnight snacks?

There is no classic midnight snack, but fresh fruit is available around the clock at the bar. You can also heat up baby porridge at any time.

Is the food home-made?

Yes, in the kitchen of the Hotel Reiters Finest Family, food is freshly prepared on site. Many delicacies such as ice cream, pasta, bread and pastries are prepared daily and with lots of love in-house.

Is the restaurant also open to external guests?

No, the restaurant at Hotel Reiters Finest Family is reserved exclusively for our hotel guests. This way we can ensure a relaxed atmosphere and the highest quality for young and old.

Is there afternoon coffee and/or cake?

Yes, an afternoon snack with coffee and cake awaits you daily from 15:00 to 17:00 at Hotel Reiters Finest Family.

Can I specify special dietary requirements in advance?

You are welcome to inform us of any special dietary requirements in advance. We will do our best to fulfil your wishes. Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee or customise any special diets. Thank you for your understanding.

Are allergens labelled in the dishes?

No, allergens are not labelled directly on the dishes or buffets. However, our service and kitchen staff will be happy to inform you about allergens contained in the dishes. Please simply speak to our team!

Does the Hotel Reiters Finest Family also offer halal dishes?

No, our kitchen does not offer halal-certified dishes. However, we make sure we have a varied selection of dishes and will be happy to advise you personally on suitable alternatives.

Are there kosher meals?

No, kosher food is not offered at Hotel Reiters Finest Family.

Does the kitchen at Hotel Reiters Finest Family also prepare meals for people with health restrictions?

Can I reserve sunbeds at the pool?

No, the sunbeds and baskets at our pools and in the thermal spa area are available on a first come, first serve basis and unfortunately cannot be reserved.

How long is the spa area open?

Our spa area is open for you daily from 07:00 to 20:00.

Is there an adults-only area at Hotel Reiters Finest Family?

Yes, the Yin Yang Spa is exclusively for adults (aged 16 and over) and offers a brine steam bath, a soft sauna, a panorama sauna and the textile-free Yin Yang signature pools.

Can day guests also use the wellness area?

No, a day spa for external guests is not offered at Hotel Reiters Finest Family.

Can I use the wellness area of the Hotel Reiters Supreme?

No, the wellness area of the Reiters Supreme Hotel cannot be used by Family Finest hotel guests. The two hotels have separate and spacious spa & wellness areas.

Are there swimming aids on site?

Yes, different sizes of water wings can be purchased at reception.

No, there are currently no swimming courses on offer.

The wellness area is accessible via lifts. The hotel (built in 1995) has been partially adapted to make it barrier-free, e.g. with handrails and separate lift access to the restaurant.

Is there a pelvic lift?

No, a pool lift is not available. However, assistance can be arranged individually with the reservations team.

Where can I find changing rooms and day cloakrooms?

Changing facilities with cloakrooms are available on level -2.

Are towels, bathrobes and slippers provided?

Yes, all bathing utensils are available in the spa area. You will also receive a loan bathing bag with bathrobes, sauna towels and baby and children's bathrobes on arrival.

Yes, soothing massages and Far Eastern Ayurveda treatments await you in our Sanctuary Spa, and we also offer numerous beauty and wellness treatments in our Finest Beauty.

Is there a bike hire service at Hotel Reiters Finest Family?

Yes, you can hire bikes, e-bikes and e-mountain bikes at Hotel Reiters Finest Family. In the warm season, we organise weekly guided bike tours through the beautiful countryside around our hotel in southern Burgenland. The railway line cycle path and the Burgenland trails are also in the immediate vicinity. Bicycles for adults are available for a fee and depending on the rental period at the nearby Hotel Reiters Supreme.

Are there children's bikes for hire at Hotel Reiters Finest Family?

Yes, we offer children's bikes for hire. You can collect these yourself from the bicycle cellar in the underground car park -3. Use is subject to a charge and depends on the rental period.

Is yoga offered at the hotel?

As part of our activity and adventure programme, we also offer various yoga sessions. You can find details and dates at reception or in our Guestfriend app.

Is there an entertainment programme at Hotel Reiters Finest Family?

Is there a baby monitor in the room?

Yes, of course there is a baby monitor in your room. This works via the room telephone in conjunction with your own mobile phone. Please contact reception if you have any questions.

Is a trolley available?

Yes, a luggage trolley is available in the lobby. Our team will be happy to help you transport your luggage on request.

Is there goat food at the reception?

No, you can get the goat feed directly at the goat enclosure. There is a feeding machine there that can be operated with a 1 euro coin.

What do I need the tokens for in the Funpark?

The Jeton are intended for the ball track in the Funpark. You can get a Kasimir ball from the machine with one Jeton. Your children can of course keep the ball and take it home with them.

Which coin do I need for the bikes in the Funpark?

To use the children's bikes in the Funpark, you need a 2-euro coin to release the bikes.

Kidsclub

Do we have to register the children for childcare?
  • We ask you to register children under the age of three for childcare at the Zwutschgerlclub by 18:00 the day before, so that we can offer individualised childcare based on the needs of the children.

  • Children over the age of three do not need to be registered in advance and can come to the Kidsclub at any time during the childcare hours. Please remember to let us know at least one hour before the respective meal time whether your child will be attending the supervised children's meal.

  • The kids and bulls can join the childcare or the various programme items individually.

From when to when is childcare offered?

Childcare in the Kidsclub and the Zwutschgerlclub takes place daily from 09:00 to 21:00. For childcare at the Zwutschgerlclub, please register your child at reception or at the Kidsclub by 18:00 the day before.

From what age is childcare offered?
  • 6 months to 3 years: Zwutschgerlclub

  • from 3 years: Kidsclub

  • from 8 years: Bulls

Is there a separate childcare room for children over the age of 8?

No, there is no separate childcare room for children over the age of 8. Our Bulls supervisors pick up the children from the meeting point and take them to the respective programme item. However, older children are also welcome in the Kasimir Kidsclub childcare rooms at any time. The following areas are additional highlights for all Bulls:

Our childcare is all-inclusive and therefore already included in the price of your overnight stay. So there are no hidden costs on site or surprises on the bill.

How exactly does childcare work at Hotel Reiters Finest Family?

Our childcare is lovingly organised and tailored to the needs of different age groups - so that every child feels completely at ease with us.  Our childcare team offers fun, games and well-being in three different age groups:

Zwutschgerlclub (from 6 months): Our youngest guests are in the best of hands at the Zwutschgerlclub. With a great deal of sensitivity, they can spill, play and discover the world with all their senses.

Kasimir Kidsclub (from 3 years): The big adventure starts here for all little explorers: whether it's a creative programme, a treasure hunt through the hotel or fun dancing and playing together - every child gets their money's worth here.  Our professional child carers are ready to listen to all the concerns of their charges.

Bulls (from 8 years): Children aged eight and over can also look forward to their own action-packed programme. At weekends and during the holidays, the Bulls programme entices children with activities based around Create, Active and Nature.

Is there a familiarisation phase in the Zwutschgerlclub?

Yes, there is a daily taster session at the Zwutschgerlclub from 17:00 to 18:00. This gives you and your child the opportunity to get to know the carers and the facilities before the registration deadline.

Is there a familiarisation phase in the Kidsclub?

Yes, there is a familiarisation phase in the Kidsclub. Before the programme starts, we offer a daily taster session for parents and children from 09:45 to 10:45. During this time, you and your child can get to know the carers personally and visit the childcare facilities.

What happens if my child feels unwell in childcare?

Our team of carers will lovingly look after your child's needs. If your child feels unsafe in external care, the carers will work closely with you to find the best possible solution for you and your child.

Is there a snack in the Kidsclub?

Yes, there is a snack in the Kidsclub. We regularly offer fruit, vegetables, sandwiches and small snacks. As we do not have regular snack times, the snacks are organised according to the children's needs.

Are drinks available in the Kidsclub?

Yes, we offer the children water and tea around the clock. Fruit juices are also served with the main meals.

Are the children in the Kidsclub nappied by the carers?

Yes, the children are nappied by the carers in both the Zwutschgerlclub and the Kasimir Kidsclub.

Can my children sleep in the Kidsclub or Zwutschgerlclub?

Yes, the Zwutschgerlclub has a lovingly furnished, temperature-controlled sleeping and resting room for the children. Simply let us know when your child normally rests and we will take care of the rest. Of course, children over the age of three are also very welcome in the sleep and rest room.

What do I need to take with me when I bring my child to childcare?

Everything your child needs for everyday life is already available in our clubs: nappies, wet wipes, a toilet, snacks, drinks and plenty of love and entertainment are provided. If your child brings personal items (dummy, cuddle cloth, drinking bottle), they are welcome to store them in their own cloakroom. We also ask that you bring clothing suitable for the weather (jacket and hat in the cold season, cap in summer, etc.).

Can I give my child medication?

We kindly ask you to inform the carers on site that your child is taking medication and to complete a declaration of consent.

Will my child be moisturised with creams, sun cream, etc.?

No, the carers do not apply their own creams to the children. If your child is in childcare for a longer period of time and needs to be moisturised during the day, we ask that you bring your own creams and fill out a consent form on site so that the childcare staff can apply cream to your child.

Where can I view the day's activities?

An overview of all activities in the children's programme can be found in the hotel lobby on level 0, in front of the Kasimir Kidsclub on level -1 and in front of Kasimir's Waterworld on level -2. You can also view our programme overview online in the Gastfreund app.

Do I have to register my child for the programme?

No. The programme items in the daily children's programme take place without registration. However, as the Zwutschgerlclub programme takes place as part of childcare, children under the age of 3 must be registered for childcare by 18:00 the day before if they wish to take part in the Zwutschgerl programme.

When does the Zwutschgerlclub programme take place?

The programme items in the Zwutschgerlclub are organised individually according to the children's mood and needs and are therefore not based on specific times of day.

Where is the meeting point for the Kasimir Kidsclub programmes?

Unless otherwise stated, the meeting point for all Kasimir Kidsclub programme items is in the Kasimir Kidsclub on level -1.

Where is the meeting point for the Bulls' programmes?

Unless otherwise stated, the meeting point for all Bulls programme items is at the Bulls Meeting Point, opposite the reception on level 0.

Are there programmes that parents and children can take part in together?

Yes, we regularly offer a variety of activities where parents and children can have fun together. These include rallies, creative workshops and other family highlights. Keep your eyes peeled for the #familytime label to spot family programmes in the overview.

Can I play with my child in the supervised area?

You and your child are welcome to explore the supervised area together during the taster sessions. Outside of our taster sessions, our supervised areas are for children only.

Are there play areas for parents and children?

Yes, there is! You are welcome to visit the play area at the bar on level 0 or the parent-child play area on level -2. You and your child can also use our soft play area, our Fix and Foxy room (gym) and our Game Lounge on level -1. The Bulls Base Camp provides even more action with numerous sporting highlights.

When is the experimental workshop open?

Our experimental workshop is open regularly as part of the Kidsclub and Bulls programme. Programme items that take place in the experimental workshop can be found in the regular children's programme.

When is the Reiters Showtheatre open?

The Reiters Showtheater is open at cinema times and show times. The times can be found in the regular children's programme and the cinema programme. To get to the show theatre, go through the connecting corridor on level -1 and turn left at the golden lion.

What is the Bulls Base Camp?

Yes, there is! You can get free water from the Sport Café at Bulls Base Camp at any time.

Can I visit Bulls Base Camp with a child under the age of 8?

Yes, children under the age of eight are also very welcome at Bulls Base Camp. Please bear in mind that Bulls Base Camp is not a supervised space and that your children are not under the supervision of the team of carers.

Does the Kidsclub take the children out to eat?

Yes, please let us know at least one hour before the main meals if your child will be eating with us.

Is the Kidsclub open during meal times?

The childcare rooms are closed during meal times, as we take the children to the Buffalo Drinking Trough (children's restaurant) for meals.

Does the Kidsclub take the children outside?

Yes, we often take the children outside as part of the programme. When the weather is nice, we also like to take the children out into the courtyard or to various playgrounds so that they can let off steam.

Does the Kidsclub take the children to the Kasimir dance?

No. Childcare in the Zwutschgerlclub and Kasimir Kidsclub will continue as normal in the childcare rooms during the Kasimir Dance.

Does the Kidsclub take the children to the Lilly Disco?

No. Childcare in the Zwutschgerlclub and Kasimir Kidsclub will continue as normal in the childcare rooms during the Lilly Disco.

Does the Kidsclub take the children to the Reiters Showtheatre at cinema time?

No. Childcare in the Zwutschgerlclub and Kasimir Kidsclub will continue as normal in the childcare rooms during cinema time.

Is the Reiters Showtheatre a supervised space?

No, the Reiters Showtheatre is not part of our childcare facilities. Children who visit the Reiters Showtheatre are not under the supervision of the Kasimir Kidsclub.

Can I leave my children alone in the Reiters Showtheatre?

Yes, but please bear in mind that your child is not under the supervision of the Kasimir Kidsclub.

Is the soft play system a supervised room?

No. The soft play area is one of our parent-child play areas and is therefore not under the supervision of the childcare team, unless the facility is being used as part of a programme item.

Can my children leave the supervised area on their own?

You can decide on site by filling out a Kidsclub pass whether or not your child is allowed to leave the supervised area. If your child is allowed to leave the supervised area alone, the duty of supervision of the childcare team lapses and is your own responsibility.

Can I taste any wine in the Genusswerkstatt-Laden?

No, only our own wines are available for tasting.

How long can I use the wellness area on the day of departure?

On the day of departure, you can use the wellness area free of charge until 15:00.

Do I need a card for the wellness area on the day of departure?

No, you do not need a card for the wellness area on the day of departure and you can also enter the SPA without a card.

Could we stay longer in the room on the day of departure?

You can use the room until 12:00 on the day of departure. Late check out is possible depending on availability. The surcharge for this is €69.00 for the room. A firm confirmation is only possible the evening before your departure.
