Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Use of Google Tag Manager
We also use the services provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, to better understand the needs of our users and to optimize the offer on this website. Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

To centrally manage these services, we use the "Google Tag Manager" to integrate the analysis and marketing services offered by Google into our website.

With the help of Google marketing services, we can display advertisements for and on our website in a targeted manner in order to present users only with advertisements that potentially reflect their interests. To do this, Google executes a code and uses so-called (re-)marketing tags, with the help of which an individual cookie is stored in the user's browser. For the use of cookies, see above.

The information collected can also be combined by Google with such information from other sources. If the user subsequently visits other websites, they can be shown ads tailored to their interests. As a result, only a rough localization is possible, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specific person, but for the cookie owner, regardless of who this cookie owner is. Of course, this does not apply if a user has expressly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected by Google marketing services about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers in the USA. The user's IP address is not merged with the user's data within other Google offers.

Among other things, we use cookies from the Google marketing service "Google AdWords". Further information on the use of data for marketing purposes by Google can be found at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads, Google's privacy policy is available at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

Matching Hashed Data to Optimize Marketing Campaigns
We use features that allow us to match your hashed data from customer lists with Google, Meta, and Pinterest. This serves to improve conversion measurement, increase conversion rates, assign target audiences, and evaluate and optimize marketing campaigns. The specific features and their providers are:

Meta Customer List
(https://engb.facebook.com/business/help/170456843145568?id=2469097953376494&locale=de_DE):
For individuals outside the USA and Canada, this service is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Serpentine Avenue, Block J, Dublin 4, Ireland, and for all other individuals by Meta Platforms Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA.

Google Customer Match
(https://support.google.com/googleads/answer/6379332?hl=de&sjid=6862507001635856014-EU):
For individuals in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, this service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and for all other individuals by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Pinterest Customer Lists
(https://help.pinterest.com/de/business/article/audiencetargeting):
For individuals in the European Economic Area, this service is provided by Pinterest Europe Ltd., Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland, and for individuals in the USA by Pinterest Inc., 651 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

These features enable us to more effectively and personally reach potential and existing customers through ads in Google Search, the Google Shopping tab, Gmail, YouTube, and Google networks, as well as on social media platforms like Meta (such as Facebook and Instagram) and Pinterest.

The personalization of advertising is based on audience assignment and is carried out by Google, Meta, and Pinterest using the information from your respective account and based on your activity and interests while using the respective services from Google, Meta, or Pinterest and their advertising partners. As an advertising partner, the hashed data matching enables us to target ads more precisely, for example ensuring that the ads shown via Google, Meta, or Pinterest are tailored to the audience-specific interests derived from your use of our shop. This hashed data matching does not require any special technologies. However, personalized advertising via Google, Meta, or Pinterest will only be shown if you have consented to the respective processing purposes via our consent banner or elsewhere with Google, Meta, or Pinterest.

Google, Meta, and Pinterest require a customer data list from us to determine whether you are already known to them as a user. No profiles are created or extended in the process. Google, Meta, and Pinterest also do not receive your actual data (such as your email address in plain text), but only so-called hashed codes created using one-way encryption. These hashed codes are then matched by Google, Meta, and Pinterest with their own user databases. Google, Meta, and Pinterest cannot decrypt these codes unless the corresponding data is already present in their own user databases. Therefore, Google, Meta, and Pinterest do not receive the customer data uploaded during the process but can only determine whether the data already exists in their systems. If the data is not present, the hashed codes based on the customer data cannot be decrypted. If the data is present, the hashed codes and existing data match, making audience creation possible. Once audiences are created, the uploaded data is deleted.

The legal basis for the use of these features is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, to achieve the above-mentioned goals and enable successful customer retargeting online. The hashed data matching procedure, particularly the use of one-way encryption, protects our customers’ personal data and prevents Google, Meta, or Pinterest from gaining access to information about individuals who have not already provided such data through their respective accounts.

If you do not wish to receive personalized advertising, you can adjust the privacy settings of the advertising partners here:

In cases where personal data is transferred to the USA by Meta Platforms or Google, the adequacy decision for the USA pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR applies due to the accession of Meta Platforms Inc. and Google LLC to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. In addition, the transfer of your data to the USA and other third countries is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914) in accordance with Art. 46 (2) lit. c GDPR or your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 49 (1) lit. a GDPR.
